Memoirs of a Modernista

Chelsea Handler…Will you be my friend?

June 23, 2008 · 2 Comments

I started reading Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea last night. I’m only halfway through it, and it’s amazing. She is one of the funniest people ever. It would be so much fun to hang out with this girl…specifically getting drunk, making fun of people and prank calling!  I think she’d absolutely love my friends, too.

If you haven’t read this book yet, go directly to the bookstore…you will not be disappointed!

So I just finished “Are You There, Vodka..” last night. Absolutely hysterical and I’ve become a total Chelsea Lately fanatic in the past month. I want to read her other book, “My Horizontal Life,” but get nervous of the inspiration that would come from a book about one night stands?

I’ve moved on to Barbara Walters’ new memoir, “Audition.” Quite the change of pace, but I’ll keep you posted!
