I got sucked into Bravo’s Real Housewives series a few months ago. It was a Sunday and probably rainy and cold. There wasn’t anything on TV I wanted to watch, so I settled on a Real Housewives of NYC marathon. Obviously, I had heard about the show but didn’t think it was something I’d like. Well, the crazy antics of Bethenny, Jill, Ramona, the Countess, Alex and the one I can’t stand (Kelly!) completely drew me in and soon I was dvr’ing new episodes and watching reruns over and over.
So of course when the new series The Real Housewives of New Jersey started, I watched. And let me just say, the NJ cast is nothing like my NYC favs. It’s like watching a trailer park on crack. Seriously, most of these women are portrayed as nothing but gold-digging, white trash tramps who married men with a ton of money. They have no class, and for the most part, the storylines are beyond boring.
I just watched last night’s episode while working out this morning…the one where everyone finds out about “the book” that sheds some light on Danielle’s shady past. First, it completely shocked me that a woman who visits dating sites specifically for weathly suitors, broadcasts a phone sex relationship she’s having and then goes to meet the guy only to be stood up, looks like an alien due to what I’m sure are many trips to the plastic surgeon, counts her daughters as her best friends (and they’re 10 and 14!) and will only date men with billions of dollars is shady. Insert sarcasm.
What was more interesting to me – although not really surprising – was her reaction to everyone finding out. She played the ultimate victim. She blamed Dina (who is my fav on this lame cast) for telling people…um, hello! What she’s being acused of is no joke! Kidnapping, holding people for ransom, posession, are serious felonies! Being arrested is one thing…being arrested by the FBI is certainly a big deal.
Danielle kept saying how if they would have just come to her first, she would have talked to them about her past. I don’t beleive her for a second. This woman is a self-absorbed, crazy psychopath. She didn’t own up to any mistakes in her past…she was just looking to blame others. She’s a snake.

I was just saying exactly the same…..Danielle Staub is disgusting (cha-cha-la-goldfish), low class, full of herself (with no reason, she’s so unattractive) she’s actually taken the lead of “most hated” housewife with me. I didn’t think anyone could be more irritating….in EVERY way…..than Kelly Bensimon, but I was wrong, Danielle Staub is the all time worst.
That restaurant scene….when she baited her “26″ year old boyfriend into telling her she looked nice, her reply wasn’t the preferred “thank you”, it was….”YEAH hahahahah, you’re lucky.” (and that fake, strained, Jersey accent pisses me off). Then she tops the entire scene off with the disgusting, mouth full of food, invitation to the bathroom that even her younger date was uncomfortable and embarrassed about. But she didn’t stop there, doesn’t take the hint that she’s a complete turn-off and asked him again! This young man had to tell her “just finish your dinner.” At that moment, he proved to be more the adult and Danielle a mere child. A vulgar and disgusting child. Kelly Bensimon should thank this piece of work for the tiny bit of retribution she gave her.
Now Teresa Giudice on the other hand, wow, what a lady! I love her look, her accent, the way she is with her daughters, the way she is with her husband and friends. I love who she is, I love how she presents herself and her family…love love love (lol)…..she’s the epitome of beauty and class….with just the perfect “Jersey Girl” edge. Perfect.
Just one more thing before closing……enough of the toasting Danielle. Even your clanging glass makes me cringe.
